This web application allows you to input patient’s information, Primary Contact information, legal guardian, or legal next of kin. afas notifies the designated, authorized recipient of a change in the patient’s status, in accordance with the Healthcare Team’s or caregiver’s intent.

Automated Family Alert System (afas) is an innovative approach to communication in healthcare.

This one-click solution initiates the notifications enabling more effective communication and quality time with patients.

How it Works



Log onto the web application using existing credentials.



Once a patient’s record is opened in the application.

w

afas application will auto-populates and displays any existing information of the patient, provider and designated Emergency Contact information.



Information is easily customizable and can be changed by the Provider, as needed, before pressing the SUBMIT button.



afas uses SMS text messaging and phone calls while attempting to connect the recipient with the healthcare provider. This cycle will repeat every 20 minutes for the duration of 2 hours or until both parties are connected.



Recipients will have a multilingual message option upon receipt.
